Yep, I am going through a vacation hangover. That sick feeling you get, that first day back in the office after an extended period of leave. Not the one or two day kind of leave, but the week long vacation binge. I have been out of the office for 12 days, 4 days for site trips, 3 days for a funeral, and then 5 days of vacation. One of the interns made the joke that they thought I did not work here anymore. It made me laugh, but reminded me I was back, and made the hangover worse.

I wish I had a magic cocktail (pun intended) that would take away the vacation hangover blues, but I'm afraid all you can do is suffer through it.
Where did you go on vacation? Someplace fun, I hope. I don't know what kind of vacation (if any) we will take this year since we're both new at the office. My grandfather is celebrating his 90th birthday in September, so we are headed to Kansas for a few days then. Our 10th anniversary is in December and we would like to do something special. We'll have to see how generous the Christmas bonus is at the firm. We'd still like to head over to Atlanta and see the new house sometime too.
